City Country River online
A letter is dealt and the clock starts.
How to play
A letter is dealt and the clock starts. Write one name for every column that begins with that letter: a city, a country, a river, and whatever other columns you picked in the settings. Press Enter to move down the columns, and Check answers when you're done. Nothing is checked before that, so you won't know until the end whether a name counts. Any town counts, down to villages of a thousand people. Every right answer scores 10 points. An answer that isn't one of the five best-known for that letter scores 15, so the Drina beats the Danube. The word for lake, mountain, river or island doesn't count for the letter, in any language, and neither does the 'de' or 'of' after it: Lago de Atitlán is an A, Mont Blanc a B and Isla de Margarita an M. After each letter you see everything that would have counted, the most obvious first.
